2 Weeks old

This is the week when the pups start looking like real puppies!They are starting to open their eyes this week. Now that they can make out the blurry human figures looking at them they will all come over to see us when we go over to the box. They are still growling and barking and even starting to roo. Most of them are getting pretty good at walking around but some are still falling over and tumbling around. They are starting to try to play with each other a little too. Mr. Blue had an adventure this week and luckily I was here! I was in the kitchen when I heard one pup throwing a fit and when I went to check on them I was surprised to see Mr. Blue out of the whelping box and cruzing around. I guess it's time to close the lower door to the whelping box!

One week old

The puppies are one week old today! They are growing so fast I can't believe it. A few of the pups are starting to get very vocal already. Mr. Blue will growl and bark when he gets mad and a few of the others are experimenting with barking. 

The pictures turned out a little blurry this week so sorry about that.

The puppies are here!

Puppies arrived a little early by C-section. Kyra went into labor on Friday afternoon and by Saturday morning we ran into a little trouble. After some chatting with our reproductive vet they decided Kyra should come in to get checked out. Kyra had a C-section later that afternoon and spent the afternoon getting support from our awesome repro team. Mom and all 10 pups came through just fine. We have 6 boys and 4 girls!
